GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION

ATTORNEY

GSA has an immediate opening for an experienced procurement attorney in the Office of Regional Counsel, National Capital Region, located in Washington, D.C. The primary emphasis of this position will be on design and construction and service contracting, in support of the Public Buildings Service. For qualification at a GS-12 or 13 levels,applicants should possess a minimum of two years’ experience in advising clients on federal procurement matters in general, design and construction, or commercial real estate development. In addition, in order to qualify as a GS 12 or 13, applicants must have litigation experience before the Boards of Contract Appeals, Government Accounting Office, Court of Federal Claims, or Federal District Court. Experience in standards of conduct applicable to government employees, Freedom of information Act, the Privacy Act, and familiarity with general federal laws, regulations, and policies is desirable. Applicants must have graduated from an ABA accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a bar of a state territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
